The guest and program for the meeting today was Deanna Berry the Executive Director of Russell Child Development. She explained how they serve our community and the vital role they play.
Russell Child Development serve 18 counties in Western Kansas. They have many different programs that provide much needed support. Their Child and Adult Care Food Program reimburses and give nutritional support to licensed providers. Their Building Blocks Project is a systematic approach for improving outcomes for young children and their families. This includes collaborating with community partners to build programs and activities to help both the kids and the parents. These are just a couple of the things Russell Child Development do and promote for the area. For more information go to www.rcdc4kids.org
